Our commitment to education lies at the core of our organization. Each artist we work with is provided with mentorship and guidance from our experienced curatorial committee and our renowned international curators. SAC artists are not only paired with curators that challenge and develop their practice, but they often travel on dedicated study trips abroad, gaining exposure to a world extending far beyond that which they are familiar with in their home country. Artists are given the necessary exposure and opportunity to develop their passion and skill into a successful profession. Beyond artists, SAC is committed to educating local students at both the school

and university levels. We have partnered with the Ministry of Education to effectively reach thousands of governmental and private schools in Jeddah. We coordinate the visits of low-income students to our space on school field trips, exposing many of them for the first time to a curated contemporary art exhibit (as well as to the Saudi artists who created the works they come to admire). Beyond this, we host a wide series of workshops and talks, conducted both virtually and in person, for community members to learn from one another, as well as from experts in the art world.
